One aspect of Ross Roses that has become famous to local, interstate and overseas visitors is a visit to our display garden.

This garden has over 5,000 roses and over 1,000 varieties mostly grouped in their rose families and placed in a easy to explore setting.

Main paths are wide, all varieties are identified with variety name labels and we constantly are looking at increasing the collection of varieties or improving the atmosphere of the garden.

Currently the garden is being re developed with some older areas being removed and re planted with newer varieties in a more interesting manner.

Our newest garden is the Hybridisting and Trial garden which when complete will hold a further 2,000 plants, mainly new varieties we have hybridized and being assessed for suitability fr Australian conditions.

With water restrictions currently in operation in South Australia, we have been forced to only maintain the garden to its high standard in the peak viewing times of October, November and December and again the Autumn viewing of late March, April and May.

If planning to visit us these months are the best to see the display at its best
