Ross Roses is currently conducting trials on roses growing on their own roots. Not all roses are suitable or economical to grow this way but as more are identified as suitable they will be added to this list.

The benefit of own-rooted roses are they are not budded onto root-stock so no suckering will happen. Own-root roses do very well if grown in containers. To find descriptions of these roses look at the bush names in our general list.

We will not grow any roses that may cause issues for gardeners, so only a few old roses or ramblers will be grown as own -root .

This list covers all varieties grown currently or to be done in the coming season.  Cost is $19.80 each
