GROUND COVERS
Ground Covers are related to climbers as they have canes that spread across the ground instead of growing up into the air.
The classification of a Ground Cover is a rose that grows wider than it is high. It is true that a rose growing 2m tall can be called a Ground Cover for it may grow 5m wide. For us we only stock manageable Ground Covers with none growing more than a few metres wide.
Although only a small number of varieties currently available, we are still trialling others which we hope to add to this section giving gardeners more choice to use in their gardens.
Many of these varieties are grown on their own roots so please check our ‘Own Root’ section for varieties available.
