Deane particularly loved the old fashioned roses for their fragrance, their interesting flowers and their history. The richly coloured blooms are tightly ruffled and fluted reminiscent of the ‘old-world’ style of flowers. With a true damask-rose fragrance and an interesting colour blend this rose has instant appeal. Continual flowering for eight months of the year on a neat low bush, this rose is perfect for smaller garden designs. Donated by George Thomson in memory of Deane Ross for the Ross Roses centenary.
