With the introduction of repeat flowering roses from China into Europe the creation of many new groups of roses began. Breeders now crossed the new imported roses with their local roses giving the world these varieties.
The range of colours, textures, scents and sizes give gardeners so much choice it is not hard to find a location once a variety has been chosen. Whether they be used as large free flowering shrubs, tall upright pillars or small, compact bushes to use amongst rocks there are a huge number of uses these roses can cover.
