SPECIES and HYBRID SPECIES

These are the wild roses that are found growing in countries of the Northern Hemisphere. Most have large clusters of single flowers of 5 to 7 petals which flower in spring followed by colourful seed pods, known as hips. Hybrid species have double flowers and repeat flowering in autumn. Most are extremely healthy and very hardy.
