R. ROXBURGHII PLENA

‘Chestnut Rose’. A most unusual species. Large fully double blooms of lavender-pink with petals decreasing in size to a crinkled centre. Buds are protected by burred sepals. Similar flaky bark on the stems as ‘Rosa Roxburghii.  Foliage is small and ferny of light green and dense. Attractive yet useful plant.
