Identification
Small round beetles of orange colour with black round spots on them are called Ladybird, sometimes called Lady Bugs or Ladybird Beetles, and are probably one of your rose gardens best friends.
They will be found where aphid infestations are heavy, roaming around the infestation or sometimes on lower leaves.
Solution
This is one of the good insects in a rose garden so no control is needed. As aphids are its main meal avoiding spraying any insecticides is vital to avoid killing this beetle. The adult stage of the Ladybird beetle will consume around 20-25 aphids a day keeping infestations in some control.
