Identification
This strange looking insect is another found regularly in the roses and is another good insect. This is actually the larvae of the Ladybird and will be found in amongst aphids and other Ladybirds.
Soution
No control is needed for this insect but care must be taken to avoid any insecticides being sprayed as it will kill them as well.
This form of the Ladybird is actually better than the Ladybird as it consumes 20 times more aphids than the adult form.
