Identification
On occasions a rose may have flowers with pink or red spots on them. These are likely to be bruising of the petals by rain or small hail. This is not a major problem with roses but can occur mostly on white or light coloured varieties and also mostly on those with soft petals.
Although it will give an unsightly flower it is not a concern for unless the conditions are ideal it is not likely to be a common occurrence.
